When CYRCLE was in Hong Kong for their Daydreaming show they had the opportunity to get to know and work with artist, and co curator (of Daydreaming), Simon Birch.  Simon and his crew were welcoming and helpful, and the installation CYRCLE did which we highlighted in the Hong Kong Chronicle video was on the outside of Simon’s studio, Future Industries.  Before we left Simon was gracious enough to give us each a sketch, and on top of that he gave us a portrait which he said we could have, as long as we collaborated with it.  His portraiture is full of energy and motion, and we hope we’re on our way to doing it justice.  Here it is, in progress in our studio.

We finally found time to edit together a video of the trip we made to Hong Kong  in early May for Daydreaming With: The Hong Kong Edition.  The city was amazing and we hope to spend more time there in the future.  We released a video about a month ago which gives an in-depth look at the creation of the Orbital piece, “The Attict,” which you can see here, while this new video chronicles the people and places we enjoyed so much while in Hong Kong.  Hope you enjoy it!  Also, a huge thanks to Black Dog films  and James Lavelle for helping make the trip a reality.  And, it wouldn’t have been the same without all the beast people from Black Dog, Daydreaming with, Future Industries and Silly Thing!

We had an amazing trip to Hong Kong Recently where we particapated in a group show called “Daydreaming With… “  The show was inspired by the music of James Lavelle “UNKL”. We met James in London in April of 2012 and ended up getting to know eachother and blah blah blah….WATCH THE VIDEO!  ENJOY :)

One of the Doug’s recently visited Seattle to bomb his old stomping grounds, and show his brothers the ropes. It was, as usual, a wet and cold trip, but that didn’t stop us from going out and spreading the love.

It was a great feeling to introduce CYRCLE’s “Manifesto” to the beautiful city of Seattle. We hope it inspires the next Nirvana ;)

You can’t go out in good old Sea town without eating Dick’s.

The little Dougs getting down…

CYRCLE. POWER!

This just in- BRING BACK THE FUCKING SONICS!

TEAM WORK! There is no “I” in CYRCLE.
